Assistant Professor in Landscape Ecology: Biogeochemistry or Ecotoxicology

As part of a new initiative in sustainable water resources, the Department of Natural Resources & the Environment and the Center for Environmental Sciences & Engineering at the University of Connecticut seek applicants for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position, to begin 23 August 2013.

We seek a candidate whose research focuses on critical issues in landscape ecology. Of particular interest, are those whose research focuses on landscape biogeochemistry or landscape ecotoxicology that could support initiatives in water sustainability. Teaching duties include undergraduate and graduate courses in areas of expertise. Doctoral degree required at the time of appointment; post-doctoral experience preferred.
