Molecular Ecology of Tropical Mammals

DESCRIPTION: The post-doc will work on an NSF-funded project using next-generation sequencing methods to study the demography of two- and three-toed sloths. It is largely a laboratory position based at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Conservation Genetics, Molecular Ecology, or related discipline. A strong publishing record and experience with NGS methods are essential.

SALARY AND CONDITIONS: The position will be available May 1, 2013 and is for 26 months total. Salary will be $44,000 per year.
