Registration » Accommodations Information

ESA has negotiated hotel rates at nearby hotels as well as a block of rooms at Marquette University. Please use the below information to help with your accommodations.

Making A Hotel Reservation

To obtain the negotiated ESA hotel rates at the official lodging locations, housing reservations must be submitted to the Housing Bureau at https://secure.lenos.com/lenos/omegameetings/esa080308/

The official Housing Reservation Form is available in electronic and print formats and may be submitted to the Housing Bureau either online, by fax, or by mail. To submit a housing reservation by fax, select and print the PDF version of the official Housing Reservation Form and fax the completed form to the Housing Bureau.

Please be sure to provide valid credit card information, including card number and expiration date, or deposit payment by check to make and guarantee a reservation. No actual charge will be made to your credit card prior to check out unless you fail to show up on the scheduled date of arrival, and do not cancel your reservation in accordance with the policies of the location holding your reservation.

If you will share a room, you MUST identify your roommate(s) in advance of making your housing reservation. The Housing Bureau will not find a roommate for you. Please submit only ONE Housing Reservation Form for each shared room and list the names(s) of all room occupants in the space(s) provided.

Making A Reservation in a Residence Hall at Marquette University

During the ESA Annual Meeting, accommodations for students will be offered in two Marquette University residence halls:  Straz Tower and Abbottsford Hall.  Both are located within close walking distance to the Midwest Airlines Convention Center.  We recognize demand for resident housing is always high and will do our best to fulfill all requests. However, we intend Starz Tower and Abbottsford Hall to be used primarily by students attending the Annual Meeting and ask non-student attendees to take this into consideration and to defer to students when making their reservations.

Because there are very few one-bed, single rooms in the Marquette University residence halls, this year requests can only be accepted for beds rather than for beds and room types. Please be prepared to share your room with either a roommate of your choosing or with a same-gender roommate(s) the University will assign if requested.

ESA Annual Meeting attendees who wish to reserve a bed in a residence hall should fill out the Housing Reservation Form and either email it to Carrie Enea  carrie.enea@marquette.edu or fax it to her attention at  414-288-5108. Each guest will need to provide credit card information to make a reservation.

RESERVATION PROCESSING
To request a room in a Marquette University residence hall you MUST submit the official reservation form and provide full payment in US Dollars for the night(s) requested.   All requests for housing must be received at Marquette University no later than Friday, June 27, 2008. Each person requesting a double room must submit the name of their roommate on the Reservation Form.  For your convenience, the official Housing Reservation Form is available. (See links posted on the ESA website at www.esa.org/milwaukee/meetingforms.php.) The form may be submitted via email and accompanied by credit card payment ONLY to the attention of  Carrie Enea at carrie.enea@marquette.edu .  You may fax the form with credit card information included to Carrie’s attention at  414-288-5108 or mail the form Carrie Enea at Marquette University, Carpenter Tower #203, 716 N. 11th St.,  Milwaukee, WI  53233 accompanied by checks or money orders drawn on US Banks payable in US Dollars.

If you will share a room, you MUST identify your roommate(s) in advance of making your housing reservation. Please submit only ONE Housing Reservation Form for each shared room and list the name(s) of all room occupants in the space(s) provided. In the Roommate Information section of the Form, please enter the name of your roommate if you are requesting a double room and have found a roommate.  Enter “Roommate wanted” if you prefer a double and want Marquette University to assign you a roommate.  Single rooms are very limited.  A limited number of quad and triple occupancy rooms are available.  If you are interested in this option, please contact Carrie Enea.  Note that the only criterion for matching roommates will be that your assigned roommate will be the same gender.  We will not be able to make changes to roommates once your form has been submitted.

Please be sure to provide valid credit card information–including card number and expiration date–or deposit payment by check to make and guarantee a reservation.  Payment by check or money order should be made payable to Marquette University.  Deposits will be processed upon receipt and applied against the guest’s room charges at check out.  Credit cards will be charged upon check in.

Reservations will be processed in the order received.   The contact information you provide will be used to send you a Reservation Acknowledgement once your request has been received. Please review it carefully for accuracy. If you do not receive your Reservation Acknowledgement within 72 hours for requests submitted online or within 15 business days for requests submitted by fax or by mail, please contact Carrie Enea by email at carrie.enea@marquette.edu
