August 3-8, 2003. Savannah International Trade & Convention Center, Savannah, Georgia

Contributed oral papers are scheduled for 15-minute blocks of time, but slightly less total time is available to the speaker because of time taken for introductions and transitions to the next speaker. Presentations should be timed to 10-12 minutes to allow 2-3 minutes for questions following the presentation. TIME LIMITS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED BY SESSION PRESIDERS. It is essential that presenters practice their talks to insure that they will fit within the allotted time. Slide Preview/Speaker Ready rooms are available in the Convention Center for practice. You must sign up for a practice time. Standard slide, overhead, and LCD projectors with dedicated laptops will be available in every room. This year, ESA will make available a dedicated laptop computer in each oral presentation room and presenters must provide a PC (NOT MAC) disc (zipped or non zipped) to the session presider/AV assistant prior to each session. You must also bring slides or overheads as backup in case of equipment or software failure. Check with your session presider for additional information. Specific guidelines for oral presentation graphics and hints on using LCD projectors will be available on the ESA website.

Organized Oral paper presentations are also scheduled this year. These sessions have been pre-organized by the session organizers. If this is applicable to you, when submitting your abstract please indicate that you are a presenter in an Organized Oral Session. The amount of time allocated for presentations in an Organized Oral Paper Session may be different than that available for Contributed Oral Papers. You should check with the Session Organizer to verify the time you will have to make your presentation. Organized Oral Paper Presentation Sessions will have the same equipment available and follow the same general guidelines as any other Contributed Oral Paper Session.
