A summary of the Chapter’s ideas or plans for the next academic year.
The SDSU Ecology Club plans to repeat many of the same types of activities we have done this last semester. We have a lot of refinement we would like to do, especially in the area of communication and delegation of responsibilities. We hope to try to get involved in freshman orientation and junior (high school) days to bring more students into the major and answer questions about the Department of Natural Resources. We hope to have a much larger Earth Hour event next year that will be open to all. For this event we would like live music and tents with different activities and projects related to ecology and sustainability efforts in this community. We hope to start more fundraising projects, one may include screenings of the Aldo Leopold “Green Fire” movie.
