We conducted elections of officers and ecology club queen for the year 2012-2013; went on field trip to the Museum of Natural Science in February 2013 in Jackson, MS; went on another field trip to Riverbend Environmental Services LLC Landfill in April 2013 in Fayette, MS; conducted Earth Day celebration April 22-23, 2013; Conducted K-12 Teachers Ecology Education Workshop under the aegis of ASU SEEDS Campus Ecology Chapter; sent two ecology club students to participate in the Toyota Green Ambassador Training at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA June 2013; engaged in the recruitment of new members; held monthly meetings and emergency meetings when occassions required it; established an arboratum on ASU campus in collaboration with Dr. Betty Roberts, Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration Services; Chief Dr. Acholonu published a paper on water quality with Ecology Club student; Chief Dr. Acholonu published a paper on water quality of ground water; some members attended the annual meeting of the Mississippi Academy of Sciences and presented three papers.
