As an organization, we revamped our governance to make it more responsive and representative of the membership, created two new committees to better address our strategic priorities and overhauled our approach to professional development for ecologists.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/2021\/leadership-in-times-of-profound-change\/\" target=\"_blank\">This letter<\/a> from past president <strong>Kathleen Weathers<\/strong> details some of our major accomplishments in support more inclusion in science and our Society, while this message from <strong>Executive Director Catherine O\u2019Riordan<\/strong> digs into <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/2021\/from-the-desk-of-the-executive-director\/\" target=\"_blank\">the successes of the leadership and staff working together<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>2021 Governing Board<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\"><div style=\"float:left;
