We hold and celebrate those among us who make powerful contributions not just to the science of ecology, but to ESA and our broader community of scientists.<\/p>\n

In celebrating scientific work and contributions to ESA, we welcomed another excellent cohort of award winners<\/a>, ESA Fellows and Early Career Fellows<\/a>. Members made sure that their peers were recognized, making 99 total nominations for awards and Fellows<\/strong> in 2023.<\/p>\n

Members also honored their colleagues in making nominations to leadership roles in ESA, from committee seats to elected positions on the Governing Board and Board of Professional Certification\u201452 nominations made<\/strong>. From those nominations, members then elected the slate of new leaders for the Society.<\/p>\n

Our donors<\/a> constitute an enormous part of our financial picture as well, especially as they contribute directly in the programs that allow us to better include all ecologists.
