An Associate Professor at Colorado State University, Bowser\u2019s research focuses on pollinator conservation. She has worked extensively with the National Park Service to develop and run programs which encourage meaningful community engagement, using art to improve science literacy and facilitate community-led studies. She is especially proud of the work she has been able to do in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/subjects\/pollinators\/pollinators-in-parks.htm\">Pollinators in Parks<\/a> program. Dr. Bowser is also heavily involved in the Rocky Mountain Sustainability and Science Network (RMSSN): a program in which government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and academic institutions collaborate to conduct research on natural and cultural resource management issues.
