Drawing on a case study of invasive species, Dr. Bradley spoke about how climate adaptation science can support land and water managers facing climate change, what practitioners are doing on the ground, and how researchers can meaningfully engage with stakeholders and rights-holders. The talk was geared especially toward graduate students and postdocs, and addressed something many of us think about: what we can do beyond our own research to support climate adaptation and conservation. In breakout discussions, participants shared why this section matters, what unites us as members, and what values should guide our work.
