Effective November 2018, The Bulletin of the Ecological Society of America<\/em> will accept submissions for consideration in a new section dedicated to Communicating Science<\/a>. All articles published in the series are free to publish and freely available via open access.<\/p>\n This new space in the journal provides ESA members interested in communication and engagement a platform for publishing articles on topics of relevance, timeliness, and value for members working at the communications, engagement, and ecology interface. Authors of op\u2010eds, commentaries, the science communication equivalent of a note, pressing questions at the interface of ecology and science communication and engagement, and more, are invited to submit.\u00a0See more details in The Bulletin<\/em>\u2019s recent announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bethann Garramon Merkle, past chair of the ESA Communication and Engagement Section, will edit The Bulletin<\/em>\u2018s new Communicating Science section.
