ESA Early Career Ecologist Section Invitation for Blog Posts<\/p>\n
The goal of this blog is to create awareness and support for early career ecologists. The blog will chronicle experiences of section members and guests on topics important during the early phase of a scientific career. We would like to increase activity on the blog by inviting section members and guests write posts monthly.<\/p>\n
Therefore, we are currently soliciting ideas for topics and guest bloggers. Ideas can range from job applications, interviews, non-ac jobs, postdoc positives and negatives, first year on the tenure-track, leaving the academic track, nonprofit work, work-life balance, publishing challenges\u2026you name it, we welcome it! We are also interested in the guest posts by members and non-members, early and late career scientists, PhD candidates and PhD recipients! We can draw from the experiences of many here!<\/p>\n
Right now, we have three posts planned for October-December 2015. We are soliciting topics and guest bloggers for January \u2013 August 2016. Please submit your post ideas and\/or interest to write a guest post to the Blog Editor with subject line \u201cECE Blog\u201d.<\/p>\n
