\"\"Alexandra Grayson<\/span><\/b>
\nI am a graduating Senior at Howard University in Washington, D.C. pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with Economics and Biology Minors. I am also a Fellow for the NOAA Center for Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology, where I conduct behavioral and atmospheric science research. I was recently a Policy Intern with the National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium. I am interested in attending graduate school for further interdisciplinary climate resilience research training.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Yazan Hasan<\/span><\/b>
\nI am a Junior at the University of Maryland pursuing a bachelors in Environmental Science and Technology with minors in Sustainability Studies and Geographical Information Systems. I am especially interested in the changing landscapes of the Chesapeake Bay, climate change, and environmental education. I am also a Palestinian-American photographer and storyteller. I thrive at the intersection of conservation and storytelling, specializing in environmental justice and education. From the rolling hills of Palestine to the golden shores of the Chesapeake Bay, I use storytelling to foster genuine relationships between people and their environments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI am in the second year of my Professional Science Master\u2019s study in Water Resources Management at the University of the District of Columbia. In my undergraduate studies, I obtained a B.S. in Marine Science and aided in the management of a regional volunteer water quality monitoring program which motivated me to pursue further studies. In my free time, I enjoy sewing and hope to one day have my entire wardrobe made up of upcycled clothing.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI am a senior at American University majoring in Environmental Science. I am currently conducting research on microplastics in the Anacostia as well as researching microplastics in biofilms. I hope to gain a sense of camaraderie with my fellow students participating in EcologyPlus, as well as gaining real-world connections in careers regarding field-based research!\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI am a PhD student at the University of Maryland-College Park researching the co-benefits of stormwater green infrastructure. I am interested in studying Social-Ecological systems in the context of urban watersheds. I also work as a Certified Les Mills Bodycombat Instructor, where I help University students release stress by leading them through a 55 minute mixed martial arts workout.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nI am a senior at The George Washington University studying Environmental Studies and English with a minor in Biology. After a research experience in a maritime forest, I have taken interest in contributing research to coastal and marine ecosystems. I currently work in a biology lab at my university which has also inspired me to start teaching myself programming and coding. I enjoy finding\u202fways to upcycle\u202fand make clothes for myself and I love rollerblading.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
