COP16 is a soup of people, from organizations, students, communicators and country representatives. People are talking about how to achieve biodiversity goals and address the biodiversity crisis across the globe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The ESA Delegation is well into COP16 events and we are making new connections and learning a lot to bring back to the ESA community.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It\u2019s really exciting to see all the interactions and to see where ecological science is needed. One thing that is apparent is how crucial and important it is for ESA and ecologists to reach outside of fundamental science into applied ecology. It\u2019s outside many ecologists\u2019 comfort zones, so I hope the ESA umbrella can provide a comfortable space for you to engage. Biodiversity needs everyone at the table for good outcomes.<\/div>\n
