{"id":573,"date":"2016-12-02T16:53:38","date_gmt":"2016-12-02T16:53:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/esa.org\/ipbes\/?p=573"},"modified":"2016-12-02T17:02:54","modified_gmt":"2016-12-02T17:02:54","slug":"ipbes-pollinators-assessment-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esa.org\/ipbes\/ipbes-pollinators-assessment-released\/","title":{"rendered":"IPBES Pollinators Assessment Released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to inform you that the IPBES thematic Assessment on Pollinators, Pollination and Food Production has been released and is available to download on the IPBES website at <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/QKpaZ4\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">https:\/\/goo.gl\/QKpaZ4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A <em>Science<\/em> Policy Forum article that builds\u00a0on the work of the Assessment was published last Friday: <a href=\"http:\/\/science.sciencemag.org\/content\/354\/6315\/975\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">&#8220;Ten policies for pollinators.&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0A Nature review was published this Monday: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/nature\/journal\/vaop\/ncurrent\/full\/nature20588.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Safeguarding pollinators and their values to human well-being&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>IPBES will be hosting an IPBES pollination side-event at the CBD COP13 in Mexico, on Tuesday, 6 December 2016, presenting key finding and messages from the Assessment, with a focus on informing national action plans and implementation.<\/p>\n<p>Please share the report and its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipbes.net\/sites\/default\/files\/downloads\/pdf\/spm_deliverable_3a_pollination_20161124.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" shape=\"rect\">Summary for Policymakers (SPM)<\/a>\u00a0with your networks, institutions and associates.
