The seventh session of the Plenary will be opened at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019.\u00a0An opening ceremony will take place on Monday evening.\u00a0The session is scheduled to close on Saturday, May 4, 2019.\u00a0An\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipbes.us8.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5da0fed71c7e4399fb28ab549&amp;id=259f1a3fef&amp;e=ac5c066911\">invitation<\/a>\u00a0has also been\u00a0sent to\u00a0all\u00a0Ministers for Environment of all States Members of the United Nations or\u00a0Members of specialized agencies or of the International Atomic Energy Agency,\u00a0to all\u00a0Permanent\u00a0Representatives to UN\u00a0Environment, as well as to the\u00a0Permanent missions to the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0provisional agenda for the seventh session of the Plenary\u00a0is available on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipbes.us8.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5da0fed71c7e4399fb28ab549&amp;id=e566d0e110&amp;e=ac5c066911\">IPBES website<\/a>. At this very important session, the Plenary will be invited to consider for approval the summary for policymakers of the global assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services and for adoption the future work\u00a0programme\u00a0for IPBES. The Plenary will receive a report on the review of IPBES at the end of its first work\u00a0programme. It will also consider financial and budgetary arrangements.
