Mixer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This year we will meet again in person in Portland, OR, USA for our mixer and business meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agenda includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Present the newly elected board of our chapter;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Establish collaborations and novel ways to address common<\/span>
    goals, emerging challenges, overcoming barriers and to develop projects to promote interactions<\/span>
    among ecological societies<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Discuss scientific decolonization in ecology<\/span>
    with a particular focus on Latin America and the Caribbean<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Award the best poster and talk winners!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Discuss future collaborations, upcoming<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>events, and webinars we have prepared for the chapter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    After two years of virtual meetings, this year we were finally able to meet in person in Montr\u00e9al, QC, Canada for our mixer and business meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Reveal our chapter\u2019s new, more inclusive name;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Show our amazing new logo and present the artist responsible for it;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Award the best poster and talk winners!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      This year\u2019s mixer will be held on Wednesday, 17 August 2022, 6:30 p.m. \u2013 8 p.m. See more info here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      You cannot miss the symposium organized by the chapter this year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The state of ecosystems across the Global South: Perspectives on ecology, conservation, and environmental justice<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      It will be held Thursday, 18 August 2022 bewteen\u00a010:00 AM \u2013 11:30 AM in room 520F.\u00a0See more info here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
