La Secci\u00f3n Latinoamericana fue formada cuando las Secciones Mexicana y Sudamericana se combinaron para formar e integrar la Secci\u00f3n Lationoamericana, que representa a los ec\u00f3logos que trabajen o sean de cualquier pa\u00eds de Latinoam\u00e9rica, incluyendo Am\u00e9rica Central y el Caribe. O cap\u00edtulo Latino Americano foi formado quando os cap\u00edtulos mexicanos e sul americanos da ESA se juntaram para criar um cap\u00edtulo unificado para os pa\u00edses da America Latina, representado ec\u00f3logos de origem latina ou trabalhando em pa\u00edses da America Latina e Caribe. Our Mission:<\/strong><\/div>\n

The objective of this Chapter shall be to encourage research and education in ecology and its applications within Latin America (Mexico, Central America, South America) and the Caribbean, and to facilitate the participation of Latin American students and scientists in the Ecological Society of America. The Chapter shall foster communication and development of collaborative links among ecologists by supporting regional scientific meetings, conferences, online seminars (\u201cwebinars\u201d), projects, mentorship, workshops and courses. To these ends, the Latin American Chapter will seek collaboration from existing academic and professional organizations in the region. The Latin American Chapter shall be a subdivision of the Ecological Society of America and shall be governed in all of its operations by the Constitution and Bylaws of that Society.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuestros objetivos son fomentar la investigaci\u00f3n y la educaci\u00f3n en ecolog\u00eda y sus aplicaciones en Am\u00e9rica Latina, as\u00ed como facilitar la participaci\u00f3n de estudiantes y cient\u00edficos latinoamericanos en la ESA. El Cap\u00edtulo promueve la comunicaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo de v\u00ednculos de colaboraci\u00f3n entre ec\u00f3logos mediante el respaldo regional de conferencias, webinars, proyectos, tutor\u00edas, cursos y otros medios. Por lo tanto, estamos siempre en busca de la colaboraci\u00f3n de acad\u00e9micos y organizaciones profesionales en la regi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

O objetivo do cap\u00edtulo Latino Americano da Sociedade Americana de Ecologia (Ecological Society of America \u2013 ESA) \u00e9 o de incentivar a pesquisa e educa\u00e7\u00e3o em ecologia e suas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es dentro dos pa\u00edses da America Latina (M\u00e9xico, centro Am\u00e9rica, Am\u00e9rica do sul e o Caribe), incentivar a filia\u00e7\u00e3o de estudantes e cientistas latinos na ESA e facilitar a participa\u00e7\u00e3o nos encontros anuais da sociedade. O cap\u00edtulo Latino Americano da ESA deve promover a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e o desenvolvimento de conex\u00f5es colaborativas entre ec\u00f3logos atrav\u00e9s do apoio \u00e0 encontros cient\u00edficos de ecologia em pa\u00edses latino americanos, congressos, semin\u00e1rios online (\u201cwebinars\u201d), tutoria de projetos, workshops e cursos. Para esses fins, o cap\u00edtulo latino americano busca colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com organiza\u00e7\u00f5es acad\u00eamicas e profissionais na regi\u00e3o. O cap\u00edtulo latino americano \u00e9 um bra\u00e7o da sociedade americana de ecologia (ESA) e deve ser gerida e operada dentro da constitui\u00e7\u00e3o e regras desta sociedade.<\/span><\/p>\n
