She works in the research line of Ecology and conservation of non-human primates, with experience and interest in the areas of Population Ecology, Socio-environmental Conflicts, and Mastozoology, with emphasis on Primates. She is the coordinator of the \u201cBugios da Ilha\u201d (Island howler monkeys) project, coordinator of the \u201cMovimento Mulheres pela Primatologia\u201d (Women for Primatology), and co-founder of the Odu initiative \u2013 a way to increase black representation in science.
