QUBES (<a href=\"https:\/\/qubeshub.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">qubeshub.org<\/a>) is an NSF-funded virtual center that supports collaboration to promote quantitative biology education at the undergraduate level.\u00a0This partnership advances ESA\u2019s initiative to prepare the education community for Big Data that is steadily coming online through the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.neonscience.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Ecological Observatory Network\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0project over the next 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>NEON is a continental-scale ecological observation facility, sponsored by the National Science Foundation and operated by Battelle, that gathers and synthesizes data on the impacts of climate change, land use change and invasive species on natural resources and biodiversity.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2215 img-fluid\"
