Title: Trail Blazing Hill Country Research on Spring-fed rivers, Watersheds and Environmental Education

Description: Many research options and combinations if desired on a Watershed Protection Plan, research on our Outdoor School, or Summer Natural Resource Camps for High School Students. I also have a student working on factors affecting recruitment and retention of minorities in natural resource and STEM careers and others on Texas new Natural Resource/Environmental Literacy Plan. We are also developing curriculum and assessment for our Discovery Point Trails.

Eligibility and Requirements: GPA 3.0 and above
Summer Stipend: $1,250.00/month; $4,500.00 total. When classes or other events are occurring, interns dine free in the dining hall. Otherwise, accommodations have refrigerator, microwave and outdoor grill.
Other services provided: Housing is provided. Airfare/ mileage is provided. Ground transportation on site is provided if needed. Research materials or equipment are provided. There are other weekly educational opportunities on-site for students e.g. seminars. We have career development / awareness activities in place.
