Title: Urban Resilience to Extremes SRN
Description: The Urban Resilience to Extremes Sustainability Research Networks is a
NSF grant funded program that promotes, designs, and implements urban
infrastructure that is resilient in the face of future extreme events, provides ecosystem
services, improves social well-being, and exploits new technologies in ways that
benefit all segments of urban populations. Research Experience for Undergraduate
(REU) opportunities focus on interdisciplinary research associated with urban resilience
and community vulnerability in the face of extreme weather-related events.
Location: Tempe, Arizona.

Summer Stipend: $400.00/week for 10 weeks. $4,000 Total.
