Letter of Recommendation

A letter of recommendation must be sent on your behalf directly to our seeds@esa.org email account. Please advise the person sending the letter to include your name in the document title. Letters from faculty or research mentors are preferred.


Meeting Information

If you plan to present at the ESA Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA, please answer the following section:

Students that submit abstracts for presentations at the ESA Annual Meeting have higher chance of being selected. Abstracts need to be submitted and approved by ESA, not SEEDS. Deadline for the Latebreaking Poster Session (the only presentation still available) is May 5, 2016 at 5PM EST. For more information please visit: http://esa.org/ftlauderdale/


Statement of Interest

In a maximum of 400 words: (1) describe why you want to attend the ESA Annual Meeting, considering your educational and career goals and interest in exploring or pursuing a career in ecology; (2) summarize your ecology experience thus far (SEEDS activities, coursework, research or work experience, etc.); (3) share your role (past, present, future) as an educator or mentor and how your participation in the ESA Meeting may benefit or impact others; and, (4) describe how your participation at the ESA Meeting would meet the SEEDS mission.
