The information that you provide allows us to allocate funding, be more supportive of regional events, and broaden the impact and mission of the SEEDS program. Overall, submitting the annual report will help us better assist you.<\/span><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The SEEDS Chapter Reports are divided into two easy parts:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/seeds\/seeds-chapter-report-part-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Part 1: Roster<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> \u2013 due <strong>December 1st<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Submit an updated chapter roster with chapter\/board officers and members by December 1<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">st<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (please use <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/seeds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2022\/04\/SEEDS-Chapter-Roster-Template-2022.xlsx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this template<\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">). This information will be used to communicate program wide activities to our members and coordinate events with SEEDS Chapter leadership.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/seeds\/seeds-chapter-report-part-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Part 2: Activities<\/span><\/b><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> \u2013 due <strong>May 31<\/strong><strong>st <\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Submit a brief report of your chapter activities within the academic year, with an updated roster and new SEEDS Chapter leadership for the next academic year. This report is crucial to measure the reach of the program every year and better allocate our funds. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Submit an updated chapter roster with chapter\/board officers and members by May 31<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">st<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (please use <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/seeds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2022\/04\/SEEDS-Chapter-Roster-Template-2022.xlsx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this template<\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/seeds\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/46\/2026\/01\/2025-SEEDS-Chapter-Handbook.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-describedby=\"audioeye_new_window_message\">SEEDS Chapter Handbook<\/a> as a guide to support SEEDS Chapter in your academic institution.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">With the annual report changes come changes in SEEDS Chapter status definitions:<\/span><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Active in Good Standing\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Active<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Inactive\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Historic<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Active in good standing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To be considered <\/span>Active In Good Standing<span data-contrast=\"auto\">, SEEDS chapters must:\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Be Active \u2013 have elected chapter officers and organize one or more chapter activities for its members during the academic year<\/span><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Submit Part 1: <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Roster by December 1<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">st<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Submit Part 2: <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Report of Chapter Activities by May 31<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">st<\/span><span target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leadership Meetings<\/a> (by invitation only) <\/span><\/li>\n<li>Access SEEDS funding for regional Field Trips and regional conferences<\/li>\n<li>Apply for <a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/seeds\/chapters\/grants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chapter Grants<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Access to the SEEDS Chapters online community via Slack<\/li>\n<li>Participate in collaborative activities<\/li>\n<li>Participate in national virtual events upon invitation<\/li>\n<li><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>Receive bonus points the chapter report this year will be labeled as \u201cActive\u201d.<\/span><span status if 2 years have elapsed since the last annual report was submitted.<\/span><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Calibri\" data-listid=\"5\" data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If the chapter submits a report and its roster, the chapter will move to \u201cActive in Good Standing\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Calibri\" data-listid=\"5\" data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">After 5 years of not submitting a report, the chapter will be categorized as a \u201cHistorical\u201d chapter<\/span><span data-ccp-props='{\"201341983\":0,\"335559739\":0,\"335559740\":240}'>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Historical<\/span><\/b><strong> Chapters<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"-\" data-font=\"Calibri\" data-listid=\"5\" data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Chapters will be given this
