The purpose of the section is to encourage research in statistical theory and methodology applied to ecological problems, to sponsor forums for presentation of advances in statistical ecology and to facilitate communication between the disciplines of statistics and ecology to enhance statistical design and analysis in ecological research.<\/p>\n<p>You may become a member of the section and receive all newsletters and other notices when you join or renew your membership in the <a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ecological Society of America<\/span><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/stats-preprod\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/01\/logo-sticker2-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-155 aligncenter img-fluid\" src=\"https:\/\/esa.org\/stats-preprod\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/2019\/01\/logo-sticker2-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"503\" height=\"288\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"well\">\nThe Ecological Society of America welcomes all ecologists, supporters and enthusiasts as members, as do our many sections and chapters.
