Black Ecologists Celebrate Juneteenth
Join us for a celebration of black excellence in ecology from 12pm-2pm (ET) on June 23rd, 2022. All are welcome at this online event featuring research talks, discussions, a panel, and a keynote address. Juneteenth marks the anniversary of the end of slavery in the United States. On the eve of this occassion, it is especially meaningful for us to provide a platform to highlight black ecologists’ work and build community. Finally, any funding raised at this event will be used to conduct programming and develop and share resources critical for the professional development and well being of black ecologists.
