ESA Annual Meeting Attendees with children in 7th & 8th grades
This year we have made arrangements at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Ft. Lauderdale for an older children’s “Ocean Explorers Camp”.Children will spend two days at the Museum, and three days at Florida Atlantic University Sea Tech in Dania Beach. While at Sea Tech, children will explore coastal marine and coral reef ecosystems. They will conduct estuary and barrier island field work and tour labs, a submarine and flow tunnels. They will learn about sea turtles, marine science careers, and design, build, and race a solar-powered boat. This is a 5 day camp and you must register for the all 5 days even if you can only attend 4 days. The fee is $300 which includes all workshop materials.
This program is very popular and the Museum will only permit us to hold the 5 slots until April 20. You must act now to register your children, this is an outstanding opportunity!
