Mixer
This year we will meet again in person in Portland, OR, USA for our mixer and business meeting.
The agenda includes:
- Present the newly elected board of our chapter;
- Establish collaborations and novel ways to address common
goals, emerging challenges, overcoming barriers and to develop projects to promote interactions
among ecological societies - Discuss scientific decolonization in ecology
with a particular focus on Latin America and the Caribbean - Award the best poster and talk winners!
- Discuss future collaborations, upcoming events, and webinars we have prepared for the chapter

Mixer
After two years of virtual meetings, this year we were finally able to meet in person in Montréal, QC, Canada for our mixer and business meeting.
The agenda included:
- Present the newly elected board of our chapter;
- Reveal our chapter’s new, more inclusive name;
- Show our amazing new logo and present the artist responsible for it;
- Award the best poster and talk winners!

The state of ecosystems across the Global South: Perspectives on ecology, conservation, and environmental justice
It will be held Thursday, 18 August 2022 bewteen 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM in room 520F. See more info here
