Preprint Policy

Authors interested in posting a copy of their manuscript to a preprint server must obey the following guidelines:

  1. The version of the manuscript posted on the preprint server must be the original version submitted to the journal and cannot be any version improved by peer review.
  2. If the manuscript is accepted, the author must provide a link to the published paper with the preprint posting.
  3. Authors should disclose whether such a posting has been made at the time of submission in the “Dual Publication” field of the ScholarOne online submission form.
  4. Due to the nature of “Comments”, a preprint of this manuscript type should not be posted until the version of record of the target paper has been posted and the “Comment” has been submitted to the relevant journal.
