The Urban Ecosystem Ecology Section of the Ecological Society of America (1) promotes an understanding of the importance of urban ecosystems among ecologists and members of related disciplines, (2) encourages education and research in urban ecosystem ecology, (3) sponsors meetings and publications for the communication of research and educational activities in urban ecosystem ecology, and (4) encourages student participation in the Society.

To join us, fill out the membership form located on the ESA Membership site and scroll down to “V. Section Affiliation” and select “Urban Ecosystem Ecology Section”. Annual membership dues are $5. You can join us at any time, but you must be a member of ESA. If you’re not already a member of ESA, you can go here on the ESA Membership site to join ESA. ESA memberships run January-December, regardless of when you join.
