Personal Scheduler
Introducing the Personal Scheduler for the 2009 ESA Annual Meeting! Use this handy online tool to browse and search the online program and to flag sessions, individual talks, events and meetings that you don’t want to miss. You can create a customized schedule and print it for reference, and you will be able to access your schedule on any computer with internet access while you are in Albuquerque.
Please note that your Personal Scheduler is completely private. It is NOT a way to register for workshops or field trips. Please see the Registration page to register for these events.

First, you will need to set up an account with an email address and a password (see “First time users: Click here to log in”). Note that this account is NOT connected to your abstract, your registration record for the meeting, or your ESA membership. You can use any email address and password that you prefer.
Tips for using the Personal Scheduler:
- Use the “Browse/Search” option on the left side of the screen to access all events in the online program. The Personal Scheduler uses three flags: “attend”, “read”, and “skip”. All events default to “skip” until you change it. Use “attend” for events you want to attend in person. Use “read” as you would a reading list. Perhaps two talks overlap and you cannot attend both. Select one of them as “read” to remind yourself to review the abstract, contact the author at the meeting, or to look up other publications by the author once the meeting is over.
- You can select individual talks within sessions to “attend” or “read” by clicking on the hyperlinked title of the session.
- You can add your own events to your Personal Scheduler by selecting “Add Event” from the menu that appears on the left side of the screen. Add coffee dates, interviews, and informal mixers to keep track of all your plans during the busy week!
If you have any questions or comments regarding the Personal Scheduler, please email Aleta Wiley, ESA Science Programs Assistant, at Aleta@esa.org.
