The Biogeosciences Section of the Ecological Society of America seeks to promote research and education in studies of the influence of biology on the chemistry of the surface of the Earth, the processing of energy and materials in Earth’s ecosystems, and the impact of humans on Earth system function. The Section shall act as a liaison between investigators, societies, and other groups interested in these subjects.

If you are a biogeoscientist, we hope you will consider joining the Ecological Society of America and our section! 

To join us, fill out the membership form located on the ESA Membership site and scroll down to “V.Section Affiliation” and select “Biogeosciences Section”. Annual section membership dues are $5. You may join us at any time: ESA memberships run January to December, regardless of when you join.

The Biogeosciences Section of the Ecological Society of America is dedicated to promoting research and facilitating collaboration between scientists, supporters and enthusiasts. Anyone interested in the biogeosciences or in supporting this work is encouraged to join.
