In honor of Black History Month, the Black Ecologists Section of ESA will be hosting a watch party for the newly released “1619 Project.” This hulu series is based on Nikole-Hannah Jones’ NY Times Bestselling book which details the myriad of ways that American history is inextricably Black history. So mark your calendars for Friday, February 24th at 3-4:30pm EST. The event will include a 45 minute group video session followed by a short discussion. All you need is a hulu account (you do NOT need to pay for a subscription).

To register for the event, click here.

The link for the watchparty will be sent to all registered attendees on the day of the event.

Until then, have a very Happy Black History Month.

See you there!
