Currently, our fundraising goal for the SEEDS program is to fully establish the Henry L. Gholz SEEDS Field Trip Endowment. The endowment was created in 2017 in honor of Dr. Henry Gholz. Interest and dividend income derived from the endowment will provide support for SEEDS National Field Trips for 20 students a year. Field trips are a vital way to introduce underrepresented minority students to the range of ecosystems across American and to enhance students’ interests in ecological research ideas and methods.
Our target is to raise $400,000 by 2024. As of June 2020, we have received nearly $90,000. Every donation counts.
