Veg Panel at 2024 ESA Annual Meeting in Long Beach, CA

At ESA’s Annual Meeting in Long Beach, California, the Vegetation Panel hosted a booth in the exhibition hall and sponsored a field trip to the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve.  Participants observed classification and conservation efforts of this urban preserve.  The Panel had its semi-annual meeting (Meeting Notes) and ran a Special Session that highlighted the applications of the U.S. National Vegetation Classification (USNVC).  The Panel also co-hosted a mixer with the Vegetation and Plant Population Ecology Sections.
