EcoEdDL Peer Reviewer Information

Thank you for your interest in ESA’s EcoEd Digital Library (EcoEdDL). We are currently seeking peer reviewers for undergraduate teaching resources. Your participation is very important to us. Please register below.

Qualifications for Peer Reviewers:

  • Expertise in any field of ecology
  • Ph.D. candidate or completed Ph.D./Master’s in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Education, or a related field (e.g., Science Education with an ecology emphasis)
  • Familiarity with Active Learning pedagogies such as those used in the Teaching Issues and Experiments in Ecology collection is a plus
  • Familiarity with the Four-Dimensional Ecology Education framework is a plus

Peer Review Commitment:

  • Review up to 2 resources per year (by invitation)
  • Inform Resource Editor within 3 business days if you are available to review the resource
  • Dedicate an average of 1–2 hours per review
  • Complete reviews within 2 weeks of receiving the resource
  • Submit Peer Review form to Resource Editor and ESA

In order for us to better match submissions with reviewers, please complete this survey to tell us more about your expertise and experience. While familiarity with active learning techniques and 4DEE is desirable, we welcome all with the requisite background to participate.
