Stockton University, Galloway NJ
Theme: Biodiversity in the Mid-Atlantic: Present and Future
Please join us for an exciting conference, hosted by Stockton University in the New Jersey Pine Barrens and Coastal Zone. The conference theme includes biodiversity throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. The plenary programs will focus on the North American Coastal Plain, recently designated as the world’s 36th biodiversity hotspot. Our speakers and panel will discuss the current threats and future prospects for biodiversity, especially in the Mid-Atlantic portion of the hotspot, including the critical interactions between terrestrial and estuarine/marine environments. The conference will include a full program of submitted oral and poster sessions of interest to ecologists from the entire region.
