EREN Info Session

Thursday, September 25th

Are you:

  • interested in inexpensive, collaborative research opportunities for you and your undergraduate students?
  • seeking community with other ecologists working to balance research demands with significant teaching responsibilities?
  • developing a project that would benefit from coordinated data collection across multiple sites?

Ecological Research as Education Network (EREN) is a Research Coordination Network that began in 2010 with National Science Foundation Funding. For 15 years, EREN has fostered 19 collaborative ecological projects that have engaged dozens of faculty and thousands of students, mainly at teaching-oriented institutions. EREN’s foundation is a supportive and welcoming community and a commitment to projects that (1) serve both teaching and research needs, (2) focus on multi-site collaboration, and (3) are accessible to institutions with limited resources. EREN has projects to join now and is seeking new projects! Gather around the virtual water cooler to learn more!
