Biology Ph.D. candidate granted 2026 ESA Graduate Student Policy Award

Doctoral candidate Sikander Khare has been selected for the 2026 Katherine S. McCarter Graduate Student Policy Award by the Ecological Society of American (ESA), one of the nation’s leading organizations dedicated to advancing ecological science.

Khare is one of 20 graduate students nationwide chosen for the competitive award, which recognizes emerging leaders in ecology who demonstrate strong interest and engagement in science policy and public service.
