Project Information

Please provide information about your proposed project for the SCIP Fellowship with adequate detail to allow applicants to indicate their preferred topics. 

Science Communication Topic

Topics that are within one of the high priority regional resource initiatives are preferred (see the NPS Northeast Region Resource Initiatives Communications Plan for a list). Projects that provide funding to cover a Fellow will be prioritized, even if they are not part of one of the initiatives. One or two projects outside of the priority initiatives may also be included in the cohort.

Please provide a description of the project that highlights the project’s importance, the key issues of concern, the expected impacts of the work, and relevant management priorities.
Highest Priority Audience for Sci-comm Products (Choose One or Two)
For each audience you selected, as a result of the SciComm product, what impact/change do you hope to see? Your response will inform product design and development.
The product format will be determined in collaboration with the SCIP Fellow. Please identify one or two potential formats that you think might be suitable for this project.
